The updates so far...

Ok so I decided to update my blog for this coming week! Yay… I’m doing well at this so far! Not too many gaps between posts so that’s a decent effort I say! Well this is what has been happening…
We had conference last weekend which I will upload pics of so everyone can see our car trip… lol mostly just Brad and Steph and I tried to get a pic of the snow on the mountains but I don’t think it worked! Anyways!
Since conference I have been back on my internship at Ringarooma! Just one week to go! I cant believe the time has just flown by so fast! I will be so excited once I finish as well since that will meant no more getting up at 6am for awhile and no more weeks without pay! I will be able to go back to working and I will be able to do some relief work and get some decent money! I cant wait for that! Especially since I need some to get to convention and pay for that! This year has been a very expensive year! I cant believe it! I feel like I am getting nowhere! Plus I have so many books to buy to help me when I’m out teaching… I guess that’s what I get for waiting until my last year at uni… But this way they are tax deductible, so it must have been a smart option! Then I have other expenses like Brad and Steph’s wedding and Clare’s baby will need things! The list goes on and on!
Oh last Sat we had our Stake service project which was actually lots of fun! We were helping to make communication books for students who with a disability! It was great to be able to help out! I was a little disappointed that were weren’t able to make more for them. They have quite a few that needed doing and we only made about 20 or so which was a pretty decent effort considering the number of pages in each book but it still would have been nice to do some more!
This week I am staying back with Collette and Marilyn which will make it a more fun filled week! Its so much nicer staying with them then at the nurses accommodation, which I have been doing . It gets lonely at the nurses accommodation and people come and go all the time. I did make a couple of friends but its so much better being with people you know well!
Well I think that about wraps it up for me! I will upload some of the clips I said I would upload.

My Internship and other BIG NEWS

Well not long now ... just 1 week and 3 days and my internship will be over and then I have about a month left of uni classes to attend before I graduate! Whoo! So pumped! I am really looking forward to the relief teaching! Such GREAT PAY!
The next big news in our family is Clare is pregnant and having a baby in Jan! That will be interesting! Haha Clare no more sleeping through the night!
Then our last big family news is Brad is engaged and getting married in December! Yay! He met a really cool chick at convention in Melbourne and things have gone from there! i am soooo happy for them both! So I have their engagement party in Melb soon then one in Tassie.
That's about it for news for my family... I am still single and no change or anything exciting for my life.. just uni ... but I guess that is exciting! Clare and I will graduate together which will be good!
I better get some planning down and double check things for tomorrow before I get up early to write my journal cos I am super tired!

FUN AND GAMES AND COLLETTES I-PHONE

Well I was going to upload some home movies from us YSA hanging out the weekend of the 10th but alas it is not working! But I can say this... Chad is totally obsessed with the magic 8 ball on Collette's i-phone and he was asking it a lot of silly questions! First it was about Collette's love life, then mine and then the Tassie YSA as a whole... if we would pick up on convention! Brad narrowed my future partner right down to the hair colour and height! lol but it definitely isn't CHAD! Like some were trying to say! Hahaha Man we are so sad! Then we had a maccas run later in the night and had quite a few of us loaded into the one car! lets just say 7 in a small car was very squishy! But again I will upload when I get onto my own laptop as this computer is being silly!

Out and About in Perth WA

Ok well yet again I am being very slack and instead of adding to my planning for next week I am updating my blog... by the way I believe I will be more up-to-date than bear already! Just too good! So here is the low down of my last month and I will work back slowly as time permits! Maybe not tonight but at a later stage! So my life last month consisted of flying to Perth for my BEST FRIENDS WEDDING! She looked amazing! I was soooo lucky to have been able to go with the price of airfares and with my internship on around that time but I went and it was great! The only bad part was I only got to see her as she walked down the aisle and not before since I was only there from the Wed to the Sunday nite. She was way too busy to see me before which I knew would be the case and I was so happy just to be there for her special day! The rest of the time I was in Perth I spent catching up with YSA and with Cassie and Simon. Ok so here was my itinerary while I was in Perth:
Wed flew into Perth around 5:30pm collected bags and it was raining. ST Kilda foot club was there collecting their bags as well... sorry no autographs! I was picked up from the airport by lovely Laura then went back home ditched my gear before we headed to tute to surprise a few people who didn’t know i was coming! (That was quite amusing watching peoples expressions!)
Thursday consisted of me going shopping in the city and by the way I found the train station on my own and how to get back to our place just from memory from last time I was there in Feb! Pretty good hey! Then I had to get ready for my hot date! Lol Justin was taking me out to the shooting range then we had a nice nite planned. I did quite well actually and my first shot with the rifle I hit the star! Pretty good if I do say so myself. After that we headed to the Swan Valley for the best homemade hamburgers ever! Apparently... but they were pretty good! Then we headed up to the National Park to a hill that overlooked the city lights and watched the planes fly in. It was quite nice!

Friday I spent the day inside ‘cos it was RAINING! Silly Perth weather had not been the best since I had arrived . I also helped Kaysie move into the girls place then that nite I headed to the temple! That was AMAZING! Plus I saw a fellow Tassie and also an ex Tassie who moved over when she was little. We were introducing ourselves and she said her name and for some reason her last name came into my head and I asked her if that was her last name! So crazy! I was friends with her big sis growing up! After the temple we did some dancing then headed home.

Sunday I finished packing and Dan picked me up to take me to sacrament meeting before I had to go meet up with Axle’s mates who were talking me to the wedding. We chat for a bit before heading off. I had Axle’s wedding which was AMAZING! She looked so beautiful and soooo HAPPY! She deserves to be so happy she is such a great person! After the wedding we headed back to her mates place for a bit before heading to the reception which was decked out so nice. It was a great venue. Just a little cold since the weather had been so poor but that’s ok! After the reception we headed to the airport to drop me off and Axles mates waited with me until my plane was ready to board at 12:10am. I had 3 seats to myself! How luck then I was on my way back home and Monday I arrived back in Tassie around 2:50pm and headed straight to the bus to get to Spudsville for my prac in Ringa. Whooo crazy but that was my busy 6 days in July!

And here she comes!

Ok so this has been a long time in coming! ... I kept telling myself once I found enough time I would create a blog so I could keep everyone up to date! But alas I was kind of using it as an excuse as I am a very bad procrastinator and knew that once I would have a blog it would be another way to avoid school work! I know I’m slack but that’s me sometimes! I prefer to be social and catch up with everyone instead of doing my assignments! (Who can blame me really?)
So For those who have long awaited my blog here it is! YAY! I will never reach Blogger Queen Status like Lisa but at least people will know what I’m up to!
